Former Democratic Party MP Ervin Salianji has made public an audio recording that, according to him, raises suspicions of manipulation linked to Albert Nushi. Nushi appeared today on behalf of the State Police to speak about the protesters and claims that armed individuals were present.

According to Salianji, Nushi has previously been involved in cases of manipulation, fabrication and abuse of public office. He claims that the published recording dates from the period when Nushi was serving as deputy police director in Fier, while accusing him of paying people and carrying out the orders of an ordinary criminal.

The former MP also draws attention to previous allegations against Nushi in Elbasan, where, according to him, Nushi was investigated and suspended for failing to act during armed clashes.

Salianji interprets Nushi’s appearance today as an attempt to make claims about magazines and armed individuals among the protesters, with the aim of tarnishing the civic protest and intimidating participants.

He accuses Prime Minister Edi Rama of using the same people for similar political scenarios and calls for his resignation.

In his response, Salianji writes that Edi Rama is once again relying on the same people for, as he puts it, “dirty work.” According to the former MP, Nushi has previously been used in manipulation mechanisms to help criminal gangs.

Salianji says he has personally experienced the political fabrications carried out by Edi Rama and his supporters, and therefore declares that he will not allow this mechanism to be used against citizens or the protest.

He concludes by emphasizing that no one has the right to manipulate the civic protest and repeats his demand: Rama must resign.

Ai shtoi se lojtarët shpesh justifikoheshin me probleme familjare ose me detyrimet fetare, duke përmendur namazin e orës pesë të mëngjesit. “Kur stërvitja caktohet në atë orar, disa prej tyre thjesht nuk paraqiten”, deklaroi Conceicao.

According to the indictment filed by Kosovo’s Special Prosecution, the three defendants are charged with the criminal offense of illegal possession of weapons. Meanwhile, Jovan Viqentijeviq and Dragisha Viqentijeviq also face more serious criminal allegations, including endangering the constitutional order by damaging or destroying public equipment and installations, committing terrorist acts, and espionage.

The indictment against the defendants was filed by the Special Prosecution on December 9, 2025.

Four traffic accidents that occurred on October 17 in North Macedonia left one person dead and several others injured.

According to data from the Ministry of Interior, a 59-year-old man died in the village of Banjicë e Poshtme in Gostivar after the Opel he was driving left the road and crashed into a concrete wall. More than 100 lecturers have signed a statement defending students and their rights, following incidents of violence recorded during protests in Tirana.

The Political Dialogue Forum is calling on lecturers across the country to join the initiative. Its aim is to show solidarity with students through a public stance by the university community against violence.

In a social media post, the Forum urges lecturers to sign the statement and support the students who have protested.

The initiative seeks to unite the academic community in defending students’ rights and opposing violence against them. According to the Forum, support should not be limited to statements, but should also be accompanied by concrete action.

“It is not enough to express solidarity; it must also be demonstrated!” reads the appeal the Political Dialogue Forum has addressed to lecturers across the country.

“Every minor who is attacked is a minor and will be protected by the Democratic Party. Those who attack them are violating the laws and the Constitution of the country. I commend the Democrats who stand up in defense of minors,” Berisha said.

Two ambulances have entered the courtyard of the Democratic Party headquarters, while several protesters reportedly felt unwell because of the tear gas and received first aid.

Meanwhile, an increased police presence has been observed on Elbasan Street.

Democratic Party Deputy Chairman Belind Këlliçi said that police had thrown two tear-gas canisters inside the party headquarters, stressing that no incident or provocation had occurred at that moment.

According to Këlliçi, the intervention was carried out when there was no reason to justify such an action.

Eno Bozdo also described the situation as shameful. He said that the Democratic Party headquarters was facing a violent attack and condemned what he called unjustified violence.

Bozdo added that three MPs had gone out to communicate with the police commander, but no one had come out to speak with them.
